The Valley

The Valley is about 20 miles long, situated between two curved loan hills. In both directions wood encroach on by a great forest. A massive wide river runs between these two hills, the banks of the river are between a half mile and a mile wide in most places. The current flows slowly but massively through this place. In the middle of the river between the two hills lies an outcropping of green. It rises up in the middle of the river. The island is about a mile long by 1/4th to 1/8th of a mile wide. No trees grow on the island, only grass and the odd wild flower. Two structures arise on the island. First is a circle of standing stones with linked tops. The stone work is remarkable in that it is without gap or seam. The second structure is a passage tomb located opposite the circle on the island. The tomb itself is a 1/2 dome 40’ in diameter, with an interior circular space 20’ in diameter, 20’ high.
